Tried melting PVC did not work, but I did some research and found out that any plastic that has a triangle with the # 2 in it is good for melting and molding, so you should be able save most of your plastic bottles for the projects we are doing, I think this plastic would be good for machining as well, thanks, Jeff.
This machine was retrofitted with an Allen Bradley system and an HMI touch screen,after the Original Manufacturer {Kraus Maffi} cost to retrofit with there new control system was too highly priced. Mckernans Machine did the job in half the time ,and at half the cost. Only problem is the customers were too cheap to pay the price after we were done! Even though the machine ran fine!
